China is one of the key countries that seriously affects the economic, geopolitical and cultural space of Kazakhstan. However, despite the active cooperation, the perception of China in society remains ambiguous - Kazakhstanis do not hide their fears that they will eventually become economically dependent. At the same time, the volume of Chinese investments continues to grow, reports Ulysmedia.kz .

More than 70% of Kazakhstanis perceive China positively. This was told by the specialists of the Center for Applied Research "TALAP". They conducted a public opinion poll and analyzed the results in comparison with previous years' reports.
"When developing laws and various rules, financial and industrial groups and large businesses have a great influence on decision-making. This is typical for almost all countries, including developed ones. But when this happens behind the scenes, in conditions of complete legal instability, a wide field for corruption is created. In the civilized world, politics is not formed behind closed doors," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said last spring, speaking to deputies.

In Almaty, people move less and sleep less, in Astana, they are more stressed and eat fast food, in Shymkent, there is a greater emphasis on fruits and vegetables, but only 7.3% of Kazakhstanis regularly visit a doctor for preventive examinations.
